The world of Tevus was created over four years ago, borne of Gihon's (aka Lyrax, not the character that is lovingly named after him) love of Dungeons and Dragons. The story was made to be a D&D campaign focused on alchemy themes, but never ran.
Blu, the other half of Lyrax, developed her skills as a webtoon writer several years ago on a different project. Her passion for writing paired with Gihon's worldbuilding made the process of developing Crown of the Alchemist smooth as butter.
The story of Gihon and Edelein is loosely based on the story of how Lyrax met, with a fantasy flair. There are several subtle references to their relationship throughout the story. Which ones? You'll have to read it and find out!
