Tucked away in the depths of the Deepwood, the Kingdom of Zenluve has come out of hiding in a time of desperation. Phantasms are rampaging, people are dying, and they are powerless to do anything about it.
Ending a thousand years of political isolation, Queen Edelein Alderhart von Luvemann has written a letter to the Society of Alchemists across the ocean in Velkhamore, Caandemium, requesting aid. She is bringing the Zengarde - elite soldiers of the throne - to learn the power of alchemy and save their kingdom.
The Society is eager to make a good impression with their new allies from the West. They recruit the Dirigent of Ravencroft, Gihon Marleogne, to personally oversee the entourage's training. But as critical issues abound, will the alchemists and the Zengarde be able to put aside their differences?
Embark on a journey filled with heart-stopping action, intricate alchemical lore, and a cast of unforgettable characters. With every page, Crown of the Alchemist weaves a tale of bravery, alliance, and the relentless quest for peace in a world teetering on the brink of chaos.

The world of Tevus was first created in 2020 from a love of Dungeons and Dragons. The story was made to be a D&D homebrew campaign focused on alchemical and philosophical themes, but never formally ran.
The B.G. Lyrax mantle is one author, but two minds. A married husband and wife duo (who you may know as Blu and Gihon) came together to finally tell the story in 2024, and it has been a passion project for them ever since.
Stories are best told from lived experiences. The romance between Gihon and Edelein is loosely based on how the Lyrax couple met, with a fantasy flair. There are several subtle references to their own relationship throughout the story. Which ones? You'll have to read it and find out!
